An undercover Duke fan tricked UNC students into saying nice things about the Blue Devils
“Do you think Grayson Allen is going to lead our team to victory?” “Hell yea!”

Duke Student Broadcasting’s Jackson Steger traveled to Chapel Hill recently to find out how UNC fans were feeling about Wednesday’s game between the Blue Devils and Tar Heels.
On the surface, the interviews appear pedestrian as Steger asked UNC students how they felt about Grayson Allen, Brandon Ingram and former center Christian Laettner.
The catch? They’re all Duke players.
Steger was so committed to the process that he even purchased Tar Heels fan gear to wear during the interviews. The sweatshirt he’s wearing probably costs at least $30, according to the Carolina team shop. Talk about dedication to your craft.
There’s a point in the video when he asks several students about how excited they were for the country’s top two ranked class of 2016 recruits, Harry Giles and Jayson Tatum, to arrive on campus next season.
“I’m very excited. I can’t wait,” one student said.
“I think they’re going to be very good. I’ve heard a lot about them,” another student said.
Giles and Tatum will, in fact, be stepping onto the Chapel Hill campus next season -- just in Duke blue.
