Vanderbilt player drills 80-foot buzzer-beater like he’s throwing darts


There are several components to that full court shot and they are all incredible.
Let’s start with the block. Matthew Fisher-Davis rotates over to obliterate what looked like an easy layup attempt. That should have been a bucket for Florida and a 37-37 halftime score. But, he wasn’t going to let that happen. Even without the 80-footer that is a great block.
As good as the block was, it’s a tiny appetizer next to the main course. With not much more than a flick of the wrist, Josh Henderson rifled in that beauty. That is one of the most accurate 80-foot heaves I’ve ever seen and he did it with minimal effort. There was no dribble, or run up. He essentially used a chest pass to drill that shot.
Many consider Kevin Love to be the best outlet passer in basketball and even he would have to appreciate Henderson’s effort here.
