Cam Newton celebrated winning the MVP by dabbin’ on his doubters

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Seemingly no matter what Cam Newton does, he seems to draw criticism. Even for something as simple as having too much fun during the game. Now, it seems Newton has embraced the role as NFL heel -- much like Richard Sherman once did.

It’s been evident in the week leading up to the Super Bowl. He even called out his haters in a new Beats commercial. Newton carried that attitude over to winning the MVP, where he not only thanked his doubters for helping him improve, but he also made sure to add a dab. If people are going to criticize you for dancing too much, dancing after winning the NFL MVP is the perfect rebuttal.
