Warriors big man congratulated the wrong Manning brother on winning the Super Bowl

Like most of the country, Warriors center Festus Ezeli watched the Super Bowl. After the game, he took to Twitter to congratulate Peyton Manning on the win. That’s a nice gesture from one champion to another. Except, there was one issue.

Festus

Ezeli was quick to fix it and eventually sent out a tweet congratulating Peyton.

Many on Twitter were quick to jump on Ezeli for a mistake, but he never specified what he was congratulating Eli for. He didn’t say anything about winning the Super Bowl. Maybe Ezeli was at the game, met Eli and was just congratulating him for being a stand up guy. Or maybe he was congratulating him for his new success as a viral Internet meme.
