How in the world did the Northern Iowa Panthers knock down that halfcourt game-winning buzzer-beater? It’s absurd beyond comprehension. At this point, nothing is too weird when it comes to March Madness.
UNI doesn’t have a lot of famous alumni, but perhaps its best-known graduate was there to celebrate -- Kurt Warner. Warner has been very close to the basketball program throughout his NFL career, and especially during retirement. The greatest show on turf meets the greatest something-on-something, we guess.
