Notre Dame stole a trip to the Elite Eight from Wisconsin. Literally.

As Notre Dame and Wisconsin came down to the wire, it appeared Wisconsin had the upper hand. A three-pointer gave them the Badgers a slim lead and possession. Then Notre Dame literally stole the advantage and didn’t look back.

Demetrius Jackson led the way, starting with huge steal after Wisconsin inbounded the ball with a 56-55 lead. He finished the play with the go-ahead bucket.

There was still plenty of time to go, giving Wisconsin another chance. Jackson stole that, too.

After going down three with 28 seconds to play, Notre Dame closed the game on an 8-0 run with Jackson scoring six of the eight points. That is how you close a game.
