In honor of Peyton Manning’s retirement, Drew Brees got nostalgic on Twitter and posted a photo he took with Manning way back in 1998. It is painfully ‘90s:

Manning’s fashion sense looks no different than if he dressed up to go out for a game of golf. The real indicator that this is a younger Manning is pretty much the haircut. Brees, however, looks like your typical college kid in the late ‘90s. Baggy shirt, hairline covered in droopy spikes, buzz cuts on the sides, looking ready for a Pearl Jam show a few hours after meeting Peyton Manning.
