Seven years after passing on Stephen Curry, Timberwolves fans put it on a shirt

A decision famous in Minnesota for all the wrong reasons.

The Minnesota Timberwolves had back-to-back picks in the 2009 NBA Draft and nabbed two point guards. Neither were named Stephen Curry, who went immediately afterwards, No. 7 overall to the Golden State Warriors. As you can see, Timberwolves fans are still pretty bitter about that whole fiasco.

What's interesting is Mavericks fans could actually make a similar T-shirt for Draymond Green, who went No. 35 overall in the 2012 NBA Draft. Dallas held the No. 33 and 34 picks, selecting Jae Crowder and Bernard James consecutively. Crowder, like Rubio, turned into a nice player, while James, like Flynn, was quickly out of the league.
