During Tuesday’s Cleveland Cavaliers-Houston Rockets game, Iman Shumpert tossed a towel on coach Tyronn Lue like he was a towel rack. It was a nonchalant move, and judging from the camera angle, it looked like Lue didn’t mind being treated like a literal towel rack.
Tyronn Lue says he didn’t notice Iman Shumpert threw a towel on him

On Friday, Lue told Cleveland.com that he had no idea Shumpert threw a towel on him, and apparently it’s not a big deal.
“I didn’t even notice it,” Lue told cleveland.com. “Somebody later brought it to my attention. It’s not something I’m concerned with. Him and me are cool. When did it happen?”
Alright, let’s analyze this a bit ...
Act 1: In which our hero is unaware a towel is about to be thrown on him.
Act 2: In which our hero turns into Iman Shumpert’s towel rack.
Act 3: In which our hero should be feeling a towel on his shoulder right now, but somehow does not react to it.
Act 4: You’d think our hero would notice even more contact when the equipment manager swipes the towel off his shoulder.
Act 5: ?????
Maybe Lue was too caught up in coaching to notice Shumpert threw a towel on him. Maybe the towel was too light for him to notice. Or maybe Lue doesn’t have any feeling on his left shoulder. Either way, it doesn’t look like he and Shumpert are as “cool” as Lue says they are. Markieff Morris and Jeff Hornacek definitely weren’t.
