People will resell anything they can get their hands on. This typically comes in the form of tangible sports memorabilia—a category that can admittedly apply to almost everything—but some things just don’t have a cost, or form.
We understand how people can get a pair of shoes the day of a huge release and immediately resell them, though we don’t condone it; there are plenty of people who just want the shoes and to not profit from it. But this eBay listing has those sneaker resellers looking like compassionate samaritans. Someone is selling air.
For just $64 (as of this writing) you can be the exclusive owner of dead stock air from Kobe Bryant’s final game at Staples Center. No air will ever be under these specific conditions ever. This is practically priceless. (And it’s in New Jersey?)
But why stop there? The innovative businessman that is this eBay user is selling themselves short. Does he or she understand that Kobe Bryant wasn’t the only person in attendance on that emotional Wednesday night? Celebrities were there as well! Here are just a few of note:

If they add this to the eBay listing, they can literally make MILLIONS of dollars. These are all of the greatest people in one room and this kind person is only selling this bag of air for less than one hundred dollars. What if huffing this bag of air somehow evoked the collective greatness of these Hollywood/basketball greats? The possibilities are endless.
So please do yourself a favor, rookie eBay user jordagardne7. You need to set a minimum amount. For your own good and for the benefit of those who want to inhale excellence/the effervescent aroma of Staples Center. It could change someone’s life.
UPDATE: The price has skyrocketed to thousands of dollars since I started writing. That’s STILL too little for such a grand prize.
