Chris Paul was nice enough to let Damian Lillard know he was shooting
Chris Paul and Damian Lillard aren't as friendly with one another as the commercials might suggest, but they do have the close communication skills.
Paul is trying to get into Dame’s head by letting him know ahead of time that he’s taking a shot. He’s not even joking about it; he’s going to throw it up. It’s just on Lillard to figure out when that shot is going down.
And unfortunately, he didn’t time it right.
