We witnessed something very rare on Friday night. It’s not quite a comet or one of those eclipses that you’ll only see twice in your lifetime, but seeing the Warriors lose at home in the regular season is one of the most unlikely things to happen in sports.
20 incredible things that happened since the Warriors last lost at home in the regular season

Before the Celtics stormed Oracle Arena on Friday night, the Warriors hadn’t lost in the regular season since Jan. 27, 2015. That’s 430 days. Between these two points the Warriors have played (and won) 54 times at home. Those are impressive enough in isolation, but the overall ridiculousness of Golden State’s run truly rears its head when you see what else happened during those 430 days.
