There are ways to make Adrian Beltre laugh, and there are ways to upset him. On Tuesday, Beltre’s saga with head-touching friend Elvis Andrus continued when the latter hit a ball to deep left field and went into a homer celebration. That is, until the ball hit the fence and Andrus got a double instead. Beltre was pissed Andrus immediately thought he had a homer and didn’t run at full speed.

Ultimately, Beltre conceded that the moment was pretty funny, but he maintained that you “cannot ... pimp a ball like that and think the ball is way out,” per this Star-Telegram interview:
