Change sucks. Watching someone you admire leave sucks. It's a truth that resonates not just within sports, but in life as well. Ella Anderson, a 7-year-old Kentucky Wildcats fan, experienced that when she found out weeks ago that Tyler Ulis, her favorite player, would be leaving Kentucky to enter the 2016 NBA Draft.
Kentucky’s Tyler Ulis cheers up a 7-year-old who was sad he’s leaving for the NBA

It wasn’t all sadness, though. Per Kentucky Sports Radio, Ulis had made a recent appearance on their broadcast and mentioned Anderson’s video as a way to show that he still appreciates Kentucky fans. Expanding on that, Anderson got the chance to personally meet Ulis at Tuesday’s signing in Bowling Green dressed with pride in all Kentucky gear, to which he gave a shout out afterwards.

She even got to meet his dad:

Hopefully, young Ella became a bigger fan of Ulis after meeting him personally, and will continue being his fan no matter where he goes.
