The Mavericks were upset about Salah Mejri being thrown to the floor by Kevin Durant during free throws on the Thunder's previous offensive possession, where no foul was called. Twice in the third quarter, Russell Westbrook had also drawn plays that Dallas could have found questionable.
Although the results on the floor was essentially a draw, the crowd ignited louder than it had all game and the Mavericks answered with a 10-3 run. We’ll give Dallas the advantage.
