Fan attempts to celebrate Jake Arrieta’s no-hitter with Cubs, leaves with police

Jake Arrieta threw his second no-hitter in as many seasons on Tuesday, blanking the Reds. Everyone was very excited about it. Especially this one Cubs fan.

He got in a few celebratory bounces with the team before everyone realized they didn’t know who the hell he was and security intervened. The Cubs continued the celebration while the fan will have to remain pumped up from the stadium jail or worse.

That’s actually a very scary situation that a fan was able to get that close to the players. But fortunately this one ended without incident other than the fan getting hauled away.
