Stephen Curry’s missed the last two playoff games against the Rockets, and while it remains to be seen if he’ll be back for Game 4 on Sunday, he took advantage of the trip to Houston by going to the Red Sox-Astros game on Friday. Here he is, seated behind two boxes of popcorn, like he built a small popcorn fort.
Stephen Curry spent some downtime at a Red Sox game, and took a photo with David Ortiz

Curry is a noted fan of the Red Sox, which is great because the Warriors are staying in the same hotel as them. But Curry took the time to visit both teams, first meeting the Astros and Carlos Correa before the game:

Here’s what Astros manager A.J. Hinch had to say about Curry visiting, per MLB.com’s Brian McTaggert:
“He came in the clubhouse and said hello and made his rounds,” Hinch said. “I guess he and Correa have struck up a friendship, and it’s always nice to see elite athletes from other spots. Very rarely do you get to meet the best, and he’s the best in his sport, certainly shooting the ball. I got the privilege to meet him and to shake his hand is a treat.”
And right after the game, he took a photo with David Ortiz, wielding a bat like he was going to beat the crap out of him:

So while missing Game 3 was a bummer, at least Curry got to have a little fun in Houston, especially as a Red Sox fan, outside of the playoffs.
