The Minnesota Wild’s dedication to Prince features his logo over a section of seats

The world is mourning the loss of Prince and you don’t have to look far to see his impact.

Minnesota teams are paying tribute in their own ways. A little after the tragic news that the cultural icon and Minnesota native passed on, the Twins modified their park to change all the banners and screens throughout Target Field to purple. They also announced that they would show Purple Rain for free.

The Wild are also paying their respects in the midst of their playoff run. They’re including playoff shirts for every fan in attendance, as most teams do. But they’re dedicating a small portion to Prince so that the arena will always display his signature emblem alongside the state of Minnesota.
