When Kris Jenkins pulled up for a long-distance three as the final seconds ticked off in the NCAA Tournament championship game, Villanova’s fan base had to be holding its collective breath. And then moments later, it exploded in exhilaration.
Villanova fan reactions to the game-winner were almost as good as the shot
The shot was great and the fan reaction did it justice. Here’s what it looked like at the big Villanova watch party at The Pavilion:

And perhaps wildest of all, the scene at the bar:

The game was also a little vindication for the Villanova band member who went viral last year after cameras caught her crying following the Wildcats’ tournament loss. This year? Safe to say she’s enjoying it a little more.

The celebration extended to the players, too. Here is Phil Booth celebrating the championship with his family.
