UNC fans showed so much love to their team after the Tar Heels’ championship loss

North Carolina fought hard in Monday’s national championship game, ultimately falling to Villanova after an exhilarating buzzer beater from Kris Jenkins. It was sadness all around Chapel Hill when that moment happened, but now that everyone’s had a few hours to breathe, Tar Heels fans have nothing but pride for their team.

Coach Roy Williams addressed the crowd during the rally without a microphone, speaking from the heart about how tough the loss was, but still feeling proud about how far they came and showing appreciation for everyone’s unwavering support. Williams even got a little emotional after saying “We love you” to the crowd.
