The Bengals-Steelers rivalry was already the most heated in the NFL. The two teams nearly brawled last year during a playoff game. They didn’t need to do a thing to make their two matchups next year among the most anticipated of the season. But, DeAngelo Williams and Vontaze Burfict are adding even more fuel to that fire.
Vontaze Burfict tells DeAngelo Williams to ‘keep my name out [of your] mouth’ during Twitter feud

It’s April. The Start of the NFL season is still five months away. It should be a quiet time around the league as teams prepare for the NFL Draft. And yet here are Williams and Burfict trading insults during a lengthy Twitter exchange. The root of it all seems to stem from Williams talking about Burfict’s hit on Antonio Brown in the playoffs.
“I don’t think there was any doubt in my mind if AB was not interfered on or hit the way he was hit, however you want to label it -- there’s no doubt we go on and give the Broncos hell,” Williams said, via ESPN.
Burfict didn’t appear to like that comment. Or the fact Williams was talking about him. This is the tweet that started the back-and-forth.
@DeAngeloRB u didn't even play nor help yo team and I'm happy to still b in y'all heads 4 months later #gethealthy✌ https://t.co/o5Hg1RxkeD

Ohhh suspension trash talk and insults about being a backup. That’s not even very good trash talk, yet here it is making us wish it was football season already.
The Bengals and Steelers will play twice during the 2016 regular season. Burfict is suspended for the first three games of the year. The NFL schedule hasn’t been released yet, but a Steelers vs. Bengals game in Week 4 would be made for primetime TV.
