High school goalkeeper nearly decapitates opponent, is punished with 2-game suspension

Keepers are usually allowed to get away with a decent amount, but this high school goalie took things a little too far.

Pine Forest was in the midst of suffering their first loss of the season, and apparently that had Cassie Sturtz, the team’s keeper, worked up. She harnessed that anger into a vicious tackle that probably would have gotten her tossed from a college football game. Unsurprisingly, she’s been suspended, but is now also being looked at by Alabama.
