The Raptors were robbed of a putback dunk by one of the worst goaltending calls ever

Seriously?

The second-round series between the Raptors and the Heat has been a dumpster fire of epic proportions, so it's fitting that the officiating would go that way, too. A professional NBA referee deemed that this ball was offensive goaltending in a playoff game. That's terrible.

If you’re not clear on the rule, offensive goaltending occurs when a majority of the ball is still within the cylinder above the rim. Not only was a majority of the ball not in the cylinder, but none of the ball was in the cylinder. In fact, this play probably should have been an and-one.

This sums it up.

This series is definitely going to Game 7, isn’t it, just to screw with us.
