Tigers manager Brad Ausmus stripped off his shirt and covered home plate after getting ejected

Brad Ausmus was not a fan of the strike zone. So much so that he took off his sweatshirt and covered home plate to show his true feelings. That’s a power move when kicking a little dirt on home plate won’t fully convey how angry you are. Certainly a unique approach.

Also credit Ausmus for remembering to take off his hat first. Being angry, you don’t always think clearly, and it would have been easy just to go for the sweatshirt rip then have it get stuck on the hat and end up looking foolish. Way to think ahead, coach. Flawless execution.
