Vanderbilt baseball pulled off a triple steal (again)

You may recall, nearly four years ago, Vanderbilt pulled off a triple steal against the Florida Gators in the SEC tournament, which shocked everyone who watched it. During that game, the pitcher was caught off-guard by a spur-of-the-moment steal for home plate, and everyone followed suit.

On Thursday, they did it again, this time against Auburn. The team found themselves in a similar situation: Vanderbilt’s Ethan Paul ran for home while Auburn pitcher Justin Camp was in the windup, and everyone else advanced. The Commodores went on to beat Auburn 9-3.

So if you ever want to witness a triple steal in the flesh, your best bet is probably watching Vanderbilt baseball in May.
