No matter what your talent is, it most likely had to be an inspiration from somebody or something. Chance the Rapper, for example, is great at what he does because of Kanye West. WWE’s Shinsuke Nakamura is amazing because of Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury.
LeBron James gets his moves from NBA greats, J.R. Smith gets his from ‘NBA 2K’


After Game 3 on Saturday, LeBron was asked about where his inspirations come from. He wasn’t sure where J.R. Smith’s fadeaway three-pointers came from, but Smith chimed in to help.

LeBron: “We all take something from somebody. I mean, if I shoot a fadeaway, I got it from M.J. Throw a no-look pass, got it from Magic. [points at J.R. Smith] He shoots fadeaway threes, I don’t know who he gets those from, but ... we all admire somebody, so ...”
Smith: [smiling] “2K.”
Take that, people who said playing video games wouldn’t get anyone anywhere.
