Someone at last night’s Yankees-Blue Jays game tried to catch a foul ball in a beer cup and Shamu-splashed a bunch of other fans.

Other fans have pulled it off before. This girl caught it and then chugged her beer. This guy caught it without spilling at all. But this one didn’t go as smoothly.
I mean, this was a whale of a shot from Jose Bautista that most unprepared people would move out of the way from, but this fan really went for it at the expense of others staying dry.
It wasn’t the wisest play, but it was a bold one that has to be respected. An expensive New York beer was sacrificed.
Good job, good effort.
