Tottenham wins Premier League, according to ESPN

This isn't just one of those cases where a news report got something wrong, it's an instance of getting something so very wrong that it's beyond the point of being amusing. On Monday afternoon Tottenham played Chelsea in their English Premier League fixture. Tottenham's hopes at a championship were hanging by a thread and required a win over Chelsea, followed by more wins and consecutive losses by Leicester City.
That didn't happen. Tottenham blew a 2-0 second half lead and witnessed their dreams slip away thanks to a late Eden Hazard goal. It gave Leicester the league title, squashing Tottenham's title hopes. The whole soccer world was watching -- except for whoever at ESPN was responsible for making sure the teleprompter was accurate.
Mistakes happen, but you’ve got to admit: This is pretty funny.
