Refs didn’t call Dion Waiters’ Game 2 inbound foul because they’d never seen anything like it

The ending of Game 2 between the Spurs and Thunder was one of the most mind-boggling sequences in history. Both teams made a mess of things -- especially Dion Waiters’ offensive foul on Manu Ginobili, who also stepped on the out-of-bounds line during the inbound play -- and the refs didn’t call anything. It’s something that both teams have struggled to explain so far. As for the refs, here’s what they had to say about the moment:
