Yasiel Puig and the Dodgers pulled a classic prank on the Rays’ mascot

1. The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday, and to twist the knife a bit, Yasiel Puig did the table top prank on Raymond. Is this mean? Maybe. Puig is not your friend, Raymond.

2. But the more I see mascots, the more I side with Lana Berry’s #StopMascots2016 campaign. Sure, they were created to bring joy, but in reality, all they bring is misery and discomfort. God forbid we ever become overruled by Iggy the Iguana.

3. Why don’t the Rays have a stingray as a mascot? Why did they have to settle for a “sea dog?” Is making a stingray mascot that difficult?

4. Don’t worry, kids. Raymond is fine. For now.

UPDATE 6:27 p.m.: Things are getting even worse for Raymond. Will he survive the night?
