Jeff Goldblum and Seth Rogen recreated The Rock’s famous fanny pack look

Everyone is familiar with that famous photo of The Rock — the one where he is in his 20s and is rocking a turtleneck, chain and fanny pack — and people always make fun of him for that. They make fun of him without The Rock actually being there because who would dare to mock the pro wrestler-turned-movie star? That’s a bold move.
But on The Graham Norton Show, Norton went there. He had The Rock on as a guest to promote his new movie and casually brought the image up. The Rock didn’t expect it to be a full-blown segment based on how he was describing the photo. Maybe he doesn’t know how popular that photo really is.
But Graham cut him off and took over. From there, he revealed that a few famous celebrities have emulated the former WWE Champion’s bold, very serious, look. Although Jeff Goldblum pulls off the look fairly well, Seth Rogen absolutely nailed it with the padding under the turtleneck.
Pulling off a look like that takes a lot of confidence. The Rock knows it now and he definitely knew it then. Just look at how careful he was over his ‘fit. The dude didn’t even want to lean without placing a tissue before.
Since we’re experiencing a ‘90s revival of sorts, why not bring the look back unironically. Fanny packs can be great smartphone holders! The mom jeans can stay in the past.
