You know the old saying, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em”? Well, Ohio State has taken it to a whole different level.
Ohio State is using the time Tim Tebow beat them as a recruiting tool

Winning championships.

There is so much to digest here. Obviously, Tim Tebow did not go to Ohio State. He did win a national championship, though! That much is true! Surely there’s no reason for Ohio State fans to be bothered by hearing Tim Tebow talk about having won a national championship. There’s absolutely no reason this should upset Ohio State fans. None at all.
Wait...
Oh yeah. He won one of those championships he’s bragging about against none other than The Ohio State University.
This is a somewhat common recruiting tactic (coaches at new schools referencing players they coached at previous jobs), but maybe they should have put a little more thought into what player and team they were talking about here. Good try, though. Maybe people have forgotten.
