This look of terror is why you should never touch Adrian Beltre’s head

It’s well documented just how much Adrian Beltre hates having his head touched. If you ever touch his head, he turns into a Hulk-like figure at you.

It’s almost Pavlovian in how he responds to it. The moment he senses it, his arms start flailing and people end up in his line of rage.
Despite this, it seems like his teammates still don't care (and probably still enjoy watching him get mad), because it happened again during Wednesday's game against the Yankees. It's the eighth inning. Beltre's at the plate. He hits a solo homer. People are pumped: Rangers fans, Beltre, the Rangers dugout. They're so pumped that Robinson Chirinos touches him on the head. Of course, Beltre got angry. He always gets angry.
If there’s any consolation from this moment, though, it’s that we got the best reaction from Chirinos once Beltre turned around for a stare down.
How does that saying go? “Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it?” Yeah, that applies well here.
