Seattle Storm’s Breanna Stewart either ran into a brick wall or got blocked by New York’s Kiah Stokes

The Seattle Storm were within six points with 40 seconds left in the game. While that lead isn’t impossible to erode in such a short amount of time, it sure is difficult. Luckily for Seattle’s Breanna Stewart a fake left her wide open for the easy layup.

But then a familiar face annihilated any hopes of a comeback. Former UConn teammate and Liberty center Kiah Stokes was waiting for Stewart and delivered an exclamation point of a block. Stewart came falling down as though she had just crashed into a brick wall. That’s how devastating this block was!
