NC State baseball coach busted out a spin move so he could keep yelling at an umpire

NC State coach Elliott Avent may not be Joe Mikulik, but he’s got enough anger in him to be Mikulik-esque. During Monday’s game against Coastal Carolina, umpire Scott Higgins didn’t call a strike on Will Gilbert’s pitch, allowing Anthony Marks to walk to first, which made Avent furious. It was a lengthy confrontation, which led to his eventual ejection in the third inning, but the best part was the spin move he put on another umpire, so he could keep yelling at Higgins.
