Pat Riley’s kind words about Udonis Haslem have absolutely nothing to do with Dwyane Wade
Even though Pat Riley and Dwyane Wade couldn't agree on a new contract with the Miami Heat early in the offseason, most still considered Miami the favorite. Then Wade decided to talk to to others, but even that seemed like an easily identifiable facade.
But it happened. Wade signed with the Bulls and Riley wasn't all too happy about it. And in any other situation, his comment on Udonis Haslem, who is arguably one of the most recognizable Heat players of all time, wouldn't seem like a huge deal. But given the timing of this, it sounds like Riley is throwing major shade at the Heat's former superstar.
