Russell Westbrook loses to a kid at his basketball camp on a halfcourt shot

Poor Russell Westbrook. First Kevin Durant decides against staying with the Oklahoma City Thunder in favor of the already-frightening Golden State Warriors, and now he’s getting schooled by seventh graders in 1-on-1.

Sure, Russ doesn’t appear to be giving it his all during this game with young Kyle, but can you blame him? The dude must be crushed.

And while you can blame Westbrook for this loss, that’s not taking anything away from Kyle, who was smart enough to flop a bit to get the possession back on the first try, then deliver a catastrophically good halfcourt shot. Not many people can say they beat an NBA player in 1-on-1 this way.

(Also, don’t worry about Russ; he’ll be just fine.)
