The guy who plays pickup games dressed like ‘90s-era Michael Jordan received a bunch of new gear from the real MJ

We were first introduced to Jeffrey Harrison in July. If you don’t know who he is, just picture Michael Jordan in the 1990s getting ready to play for the Chicago Bulls. Like a mirror image. He was first spotted playing a pickup game in a red Chicago uniform that was so perfect he even had the arm and leg bands on.
The Internet was ecstatic to find out how exact the look was. It’s an excellent homage to the meme man His Airness. According to KREM’s Darnay Tripp, he has played in a Jordan uniform for years. Harrison, who is autistic, finds that playing pickup games in the uniform gives him the motivation to overcome anything.
And now, just about a month after he went viral, Michael “Jeffrey Harrison” Jordan got the attention from the real Michael Jeffery Jordan. He got new gear. And while it isn’t a throwback like what he was initially wearing when he was discovered, this probably means a whole lot more for Harrison.
This is one of those great stories of the Internet. Michael has to sign him for some sort of deal. Or better yet, the two should meet!
