Ugandan runner gets eliminated from steeplechase final after brutally stumbling into a barrier
Jacob Araptany of Uganda showed just how brutal a 3000m steeplechase can be. During the final, as racers were approaching a barrier, Araptany took a misstep and stumbled head first right into it, as runners jumped over him and the barrier. Thankfully, Araptany got back up, but unfortunately, he lost with a DNF. Going into the race, he was looked at as a medal hopeful for Uganda, and seeing that hope disappear with a moment like this just plain sucks.
