Usain Bolt is known for his antics while winning races against people trying to run their absolute fastest. That continued on Wednesday during the 200m semifinal, but this time he had a partner to join him in the fun. Bolt surged out to an early lead, but Canadian Andre De Grasse did well to stay with Bolt as they both blew away the field. They enjoyed a nice laugh as they came to the finish line.

Bolt slowed up at the end of the race, jogging across the line. De Grasse was running a little harder, but they both seemed to be having a great time.

Oh you know, just two guys out for a leisurely jog while others around them try to desperately run as fast as humanly possible just to keep up.
Or at least it seemed that way. While Bolt may have smiled during the race, that may not have signaled he was having a great time.
"No reason to run that fast," Bolt grumbled on Brazilian TV after telling the reporter to just ask his question.

The good news is both Bolt and De Grasse are headed to the final where maybe they can tell each other more jokes while sprinting ahead of a world-class field. Or maybe Bolt was really upset about being pushed to run too fast in a semifinal and will make sure De Grasse isn’t within laughing distance.
