Watch the U.S. women win their sixth consecutive gold medal in basketball

The U.S. women’s basketball team did it again —for the sixth consecutive time — and won Olympic gold. The U.S. convincingly defeated Spain 101-72 in the gold medal game.

And the game wasn’t close from the start, as evidenced by the American women beginning the game with a 16-3 run. And although the team has veterans like Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi who will be in their late 30s come the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, younger players like Breanna Stewart are sure to continue the women’s basketball dominance in the Olympics.
