We didn’t know we needed LEGO stop-motion sports highlights until we saw these

Forget GIFs or Vines, one very talented stop-motion video maker is using LEGOS to transform sports highlights into incredible ever-lasting replays. Jared Jacobs has reenacted sports highlights with LEGOs before, but now with the start of the football season approaching, he’s used his talents to transform LEGO pieces into two of the best highlights from the 2015 season.

Remember the frenzied and unbelievable ending to Michigan State vs. Michigan last year? Well, you’ve never seen it like this:

Jacobs told USA Today that he creates the videos entirely with LEGO pieces. There are no after effects added on a computer. He simply moves every piece by hand and shoots it. The end result is a masterpiece. The attention to detail is so impressive.

How could anyone forget this stunned Michigan fan:

And now the LEGO version in Jacobs’ video.

Jacobs also preserved a place in stop-motion history for BYU’s Hail Mary win against Nebraska:

Boise State beat Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl on a Statue of Liberty play and it’s never looked better than this:

And he does so much more than just college football.

There is golf, like Tiger Woods’ chip in at the 2005 Masters:

Some classic wrestling moments:

And so much more.

Watching these videos makes me excited for more awesome sports highlights, just so they can be recreated in LEGO form.
