Aly Raisman’s Olympic medals might be too heavy for David Ortiz
An unexpected gem that is coming from the post-Olympics celebrations is newly minted medalists showing up to baseball stadiums. Just a few days ago, Bryce Harper had the esteemed honor of holding all five of Katie Ledecky’s medals while she threw the first pitch at Nationals Park.
Now gymnast Aly Raisman is at Fenway Park getting in on the fun. While she didn’t have Harper to hold her medals for her, she did have David Ortiz. Luckily for Ortiz, he only had to carry three medals. Even still, the medals miiiiight be a little too heavy for Big Papi.
No word on whether Raisman’s parents were there, but we know what their reactions would have been:
