After heavy rain flooded this minor league dugout, players treated it like a water park

The bad news is the Indianapolis Indians and Louisville Bats were unable to play baseball on Friday after heavy rain soaked the field and flooded the dugouts. The good news is the players found plenty of ways to occupy their time.

I don’t know how or why these players had inner tubes, life jackets and an assortment of water activity accessories. I do know that they did have those things, and that they put them to full use.

Some players held what looks like inner tube home run derby:

Others recreated a scene from Titanic:

Some even did a little swimming:

Many just used it as an opportunity to get a little R&R:

The lesson here is: if you play minor league baseball and there is heavy rain in the forecast, don’t forget to bring your swimsuit to the park.
