Red Sox first baseman Hanley Ramirez went deep against the Mariners on Tuesday night, and the ball was stuck in a net in front of a few fans who wanted a souvenir. The net didn’t want to give it up, and only one fan stuck with trying to get it after this realization:

This net wanted a souvenir homer even more than these fans.

He should thank his friend for holding on tightly, as this dude was leaning far over the railing.
