We’ve seen some pretty bad screw-ups that led to own-goals this year, but this one may be the worst.
Chicago Fire goalie proves that giving the ball to your opponent with an open net is a bad idea
This was not a well-thought-out play by the Chicago Fire goalie.

Chicago Fire fans. I have literally nothing to say to you right now. 2-0 Toronto. pic.twitter.com/bE0UMJgzIa

This is Toronto FC moving the ball towards the Chicago Fire’s end when Sean Johnson, the goalie for Chicago, gets the ball. He apparently thought he could rocket the ball between Jonathan Osorio and Joze Altidore to his player, but that turned out to be a very poor decision. Joze sees what he’s trying to do and quickly stops the throw attempt, kicks it to Osorio who easily kicks the ball back into an open net.
Goddammit Sean.

He’s probably saying the same thing.
