The Golden State Warriors are going to get booed this season. A lot. The Warriors used to be loved for being so fun. But at some point they transitioned into being the villains. It’s only escalated with the team signing Kevin Durant. It’s now to the point that members of the Warriors were even booed in Los Angeles when they were playing for Team USA.
Draymond Green isn’t concerned by booing fans, ‘eventually you’ll shut up. And I’ll laugh.’
The Warriors aren’t concerned what opposing fans think.

Draymond Green is very aware of the booing. He hears it. He doesn’t understand it. But he doesn’t really care.
“They’re gonna boo us anyway everywhere we go, so that’s fine,” Green said, via the Mercury News. “The most fun I have in this game is going on another team’s floor and quieting their crowd anyway. So boo. Then eventually you’ll shut up. And I’ll laugh. We’ll laugh. And we’ll keep it moving.”
The Warriors haven’t played a game yet. They’ve barely started practicing for the season and they are already embracing the role of the villain, even if they say they aren’t thinking about it.
Green can say all the right things.
“Who cares what someone tries to make us out to be?”
“So to say, ‘Oh, we don’t want people to hate us. Come on, love us.’ That’s what we’re doing? No. It’s not. Who cares?”
“They’re gonna boo us anyway everywhere we go, so that’s fine.”
All of that is great, but it still comes with this.
“Then eventually you’ll shut up. And I’ll laugh. We’ll laugh. And we’ll keep it moving.”
Everyone is still going to boo the Warriors. And they are going to enjoy every second of it.
