Fun times for Dallas.
A season ago, they led the Western Conference in points and goals and won their first playoff series in over five years.
Now? They’re bottom feeders. Injuries, inconsistent defending, and poor goaltending have drowned Dallas all season. And their captain has had quite enough.
Jamie Benn had a couple of good scoring chances in the second period, but Dallas still ended the frame down 3-1 to the Buffalo Sabres. And as the period ended, Benn took everything out on his equipment.
And that was AFTER he broke his stick on the ice. You know things are bad when the usually stoic Jamie Benn is raging on the bench.
