When she has two shoes on, Lexie Vaught is a really good role player for Division-II Drury basketball. Off the bench she’s scoring four points per game and has made 13 of 29 three-point shots. Vaught isn’t the same athlete when one shoe goes missing, though.
This D2 basketball player lost her shoe and kept falling for 14 seconds
So. Much. Falling.

That’s three falls and a stumble in two possessions.
Fall 1
The least graceful of the three, Fall 1 left Vaught face-down on the ground after her opponent stepped on her shoe and left her running with just a sock on.
It was a sad fall.
This is the moment her teammate, Heather Harman, told her to stay down:
She should’ve listened.
Fall 2
Is she laughing? OK, I think she’s laughing. We can laugh now. Fall 2 is by far the funniest.
The Stumble
The Stumble wouldn’t really be a thing without Fall 3, but let’s give Vaught some credit for not making this a four-fall disaster.
Fall 3
Aww.
Vaught’s team crushed Rockhurst though, 94-43, and she finished with nine points and five rebounds.
