It got a little misty-eyed in Nashville on Tuesday.
Shea Weber fights back tears in his return to Nashville
A touching return.

Former captain and current Montreal Canadiens Shea Weber returned for the first time since the blockbuster trade in July that sent him to Canada and P.K. Subban to the Predators. With Subban out with a back injury, the spotlight was Weber’s alone to soak up.
Nashville didn’t wait long to drop the obligatory video and ovation. Just after the first stoppage in play, the Predators played a tribute video that leaned heavily on the children and fans he impacted most in his decade-plus run with the franchise.
And Weber tried his best not to cry.
It was a great moment, and even better that Canadiens coach Michel Therrien immediately put Weber out on the ice for the next shift. We can’t wait to see the reception Subban gets when the Predators play in Montreal on March 2.
